This week, temperatures in many parts of the country was set up to "broil." We all know what that means: air conditioning failure on a massive scale. Veronica is sick, elderly parents bought their central A / C Sears four years ago. When she called up Sears, they told him they would send someone to look at the end of the week. I just had one of the most frustrating experiences with another large company, but this time the bully is Sears. I never cease to be amazed at how they are greedy and used car after you spend thousands of dollars on their products and services shabby. I wrote the following letter, after spending an entire morning on the phone with their parts and repair departments.I was pushed back one another, each telling me to try another, until they suggested, the words I've heard concerns remain, CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It was horrible to say the least. Their daughter, [B] made some remarks quite frustrating and really seemed unaware of this dilemma. I wrote this letter and email searscares@searshc.com (never mind the irony in the name) after seeing a post on e-pinions that got some action:

"To whom it may concern:

Yesterday my parents Kenmore central air conditioner broke down. They bought 4 years ago by Sears.I called Sears and they have no one available until Friday to even out and look. It's Monday and 103 on the outside, my dad has heart disease, and my mother and sister are both diabetic.

I called another repair service, which was released the same day within 2 hours of my call. He thought it was the compressor and said that the party should be $ 1000 still under warranty. The one thing prevents the repair is that person working for Sears parts could help us get the guaranteed portion. They sent me back to the repair department, who could not help me get the part either.

Someone finally returned to the customer relationship. I had the misfortune of having my call managed by B. I explained my situation but she replied that the technicians have worked up to 10 hours in some cases and there was nothing she could do. I said I understood, but I was with the solution. I had my own person who could do the job right away if it would help to understand how to get the game.
