'Leverage' 'The Hot Potato Job' recap: A very special potato and a burn room

Continued its fourth season with the July 24th episode "The Hot Potato Job." After one of the best episodes of the series, "The Van Gogh Job," which had a different feel to it than other episodes, the team was back at it, this time on a mission to get a special potato back.

Emily found men looking for something on her property, and when her father intervened, they hit him before driving off. She turned to Nate and Sophie because they didn't have enough for the police to follow up. She showed them her "open source potato," which she was planning to give away for free. She kept getting offers, but she refused to sell. After Emily left, Nate invited Sophie to dinner "as friends." Of course, it didn't end that way.

The next morning, he told her he didn't want a relationship, and she didn't want dynamics to change in the team, calling them "friends with extras." The rest of the team entered to start working on the case (while Nate hid Sophie's bra). Saunders ran the company and he loved acquisitions. Jana did his dirty work. Emily called Nate, but they didn't get there before Jana took the potato. Hardison found a creative way of blocking the road by spilling out hay across it. However, when Sophie didn't think the suits were buying it, she walked over and punched Hardison.

Sophie introduced herself as a security consultant and joined them in keeping "the product secure." In the van at VerdAgra, Hardison set up Sophie's identity using one he had for Eliot, and she passed the inspection. Imitating Eliot, Sophie talked to Jana about her position in the company and the potato, and Nate realized what con she was running. She said there was a mole and she'd find the person; Jana bought it. She brought Sophie to talk to Saunders, who revealed the potato was in the burn room and only he had access. (Parker wanted a burn room.) Everyone else needed to get in before the lockdown was initiated in five minutes. Parker talked Hardison through a lift (which took two tries). They just needed to get everyone in. After tackling a worker, Eliot entered the building in his clothes as Sophie's accountant, while Nate and Parker posed as "educational coordinators" for a class. They got in just before the lockdown.

Nate explained about the different zones to get to the top security level (and had some trouble from one of the kids, Trevor). Sophie brought Eliot to Saunders and said they needed access to anyone who seemed suspicious, like the head of IT. That gave Hardison time to get in where he needed to be. Sophie was getting Parker three badges to confuse the system, while Hardison had Eliot collect people as suspected moles. Parker headed up, confused the system using foil and the IDs, and found a keypad. Once past it, she was in the yellow zone, heading for the burn room. Trevor interrupted Nate and Hardison in IT, and Parker noticed the door had two locks. The guard had one, while Parker noticed the custodian had a key. She lifted the key, and Nate had him report to Sophie and Eliot. However, they weren't expecting the custodian to reveal he was actually a mole. Jana was ready to lift the lockdown.

Gental Warts - Dermatend the Original Mole, Wart & Skin Tag ...

I give it 5 stars just for the simple fact that it does what it claims. If you use this as directed, you’ll be very suprised. It’s a little messy, I had to do 2 applications, took about a day and a half til I could go ‘bandaid-less’ without the paste. 1 actually came off yesterday (started the whole process 4 days ago) and the others definitely look like they are going to soon. It is a little painful & itchy (not to mention gross) but nothing awful. Those small round bandaids are perfect for this. I’ll update this once they start to heal (the one that came off kind of looks like a little burn wound right now) and maybe I’ll have during/after photos then. Also, it didn’t really affect the healthy skin around it very much, and I know I wasn’t very careful about applying it. Overall, it’s worth the money. Careful about putting this in a place where others can see, it’ll take a bit to heal and it turns the spot BLACK until it falls off. Wanted to also say the customer service is GREAT, the guy was super quick to reply to my emails and very nice/professional. I’ll update in a few weeks!

update 3/27: All gone but a few holes/divots are left behind, not healed yet though and still red. Using neosporin and bandaids 24/7.

update 4/6: Divots have filled in, looking SO much better, just a bit red and discolored. Just started using prefer on scar treatment.

update 5/26: about half of the moles are starting to grow back (although smaller and flat). others are scars that lighten every week but still quite noticeable. will reapply to the ones reappearing.

update a year and half later: reapplied and they are ALL gone still, and the scars have almost vanished, just a teeny touch lighter than the surrounding skin, but certainly not noticeable.

I have some skin tags on my neck and some small moles on my face that have been popping up periodically over the years. They came from sun damage and aging. They have always bothered me because I didn’t acquire them until my thirties.

I could have them removed by either laser treatment which is highly exhorbitant with no guaranty they won’t scar or come back. Or I could do the freezing or cutting off at a doctors office which is very painful and they usually come back.

I first heard about Dermatend and other similar products from doctors years ago. A doctor I worked for applied it to a mole on my face. It’worked – it fell off in 4-5 days and it’s never come back but it was a long time ago aND I don’t live or work near them now so I did some research online and found the dermatend.
