Traveling chalice: Steve and Myrtle Bourgeois received the traveling chalice at the 10 a.m. Mass on Sunday at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
It will remain in their home for one week as they pray for vocations.

RCIA: Classes for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, or RCIA, will begin in August. The classes are for those who have not been baptized, who were baptized in other faiths, who are Catholics but would like to learn more about their faith or any adult baptized Catholic who has not yet celebrated first communion and confirmation and wishes to do so.

Coffee is served at 7:15 a.m. Mondays through Fridays at the Raceland Senior Citizen’s Center, 206 Senior Citizens Drive, Raceland, with lunch served at 11 a.m. daily.
Exercise classes are scheduled for 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Po-keno is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Thursdays, and bingo at 1 p.m. the same day.
The center also has a Nintendo Wii video-game console and treadmill for use.
