Who Has The Best Ice Cream In Town?
Yes, Friendly's is a chain but in my opinion it is one of the best family friendly restaurant's in the area. It is always bustling with children and provides an inexpensive full menu for dining and dessert. The Milford location always has friendly service and is impeccably clean. Plus, they even have crayons and balloons for the little ones.
Friendly's is currently offering 24 flavors including watermelon and orange sherbet, fat-free frozen yogurt and sugar-free vanilla. A few items are added and/or removed seasonally. My favorite dessert is the orange sherbet cooler.
At this ice cream shop, there are toppings ranging from hot fudge to Chips Ahoy cookies.
I watched the Friend-Z. It can be compared to Dairy Queen Blizzard.
I was undecided, but finally settled on the strawberry sundae.
The cake consisted of three scoops of vanilla ice cream with pieces of pound cake and strawberry-filling. I must say I was sorely disappointed. It was just ice cream with a spoonful of pieces of pound cake and strawberries.
I told the waitress that it was as if I commanded balls with a little trim.It was not a sundae. The waitress, who apologized and sweet, explained that everything the restaurant portions. Wow. I realize that franchises have a system that they stick to as far as portion control. Metro does this with their sandwich fillings, but they sure are not stingy. It would be like me ordering a tuna and cheese sub and there was a drop of tuna and cheese is! The restaurant is just by following the welcome seat, but they must adjust their portions.
The pieces of pound cake are very small, perfectly square cubes and are not suitable for a sundae.They are not only tasty and well ahead of quality. Strawberries - where were they?
My daughter ordered a creative self-service washing cake sundae and it was delicious. The lava cake was moist and tasty and oozing with hot fudge - and meshed perfectly with the ice cream chocolate chip dough. His choice of two other toppings were few gummy bears and pieces of Reese.
My son-flight Build your own Sundae Cone-O arrived with a scoop of chocolate cookie dough ice cream with a large sugar cone on top. There were three small containers containing different fillings of choice.He had a great time to make each and make a mess.

But next time, I would bake it for a little longer, maybe another 5-7 minutes as the middle was definitely far more liquid batter than I wanted and I would've preferred more cake. The pudding part seemed more like batter than liquid fudge.
