One word, dominate. Sure J-Dub’s two championship haul isn’t quite Schuey’s seven world titles, but both have made winning look easy. While Whincup’s on-track tactics aren’t as ‘controversial’ as the German’s, off the track they’re both quiet and reserved kind of characters.
Shane van Gisbergen: Rhys Millen
Gizzy loves his home country New Zealand, so we couldn’t get a driver from any other nation. We thought of names like Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme. But because of the Stone Brothers racer’s arse-shaking style, we reckon Formula D drifter Rhys Millen would be a great partner. Millen has little ‘proper’ circuit racing experience, but seeing he and the Giz going hammer and tongs would be worth the admission into the track alone. You'd hate to be one of their Dunlops though!

Rick Kelly: Sebastian Vettel
There are a few similarities between Rick and reigning Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel. Both won championships at age 23 and both are either loved or loathed by fans. They’re also both coincidently sponsored by Red Bull.
Mark Winterbottom: Rubens Barrichello
Bridesmaids but never the bride. Frosty and Rubens Barichello have both won plenty of races, but have fallen agonisingly short of championship wins. Outside of racing, they’re both known to be nice blokes too. So it’s guaranteed that side of the FPR garage would be quite the happy place to be!
Will Davison: Danica Patrick
Firstly, we’re not calling Davo a girl! While IndyCar glamour Danica is quite the looker, she’s got plenty of balls when it comes to telling other drivers what she thinks. Davison has been in a few wars of words in the paddock over the years. Will also knows well what it’s like to be besides female ‘talent’, with model and TV personality Riana Crehan being his long-term partner. Plus Crehan’s trackside interview with Danica about sharing seats with her man could be interesting!
Garth Tander: Mark Webber
Physically they’re both similar; tall and lanky. So they’d quite possibly have similar seating arrangements in the Holden Racing Team car. Just like the already mentioned duo of Tander’s former teammate Rick Kelly and Webber’s current stable mate Sebastian Vettel, they’re both either adored or detested. Either way, they’re two of Australia’s best ever racing drivers and would make a great team.
