Two new officers join force
STERLING -- The Sterling Police Department welcomed two new members to their team on Monday, July 25, in Council Chambers at City Hall.Kent Keller comes to the community most recently from Thornton, and spent most of his life growing up in the Omaha, Neb. area, graduating from Ralston High School in Ralston, Neb. Keller is a recent graduate of the law enforcement academy at Red Rocks Community College, and also attended the University of Nebraska.
Nicholas Hrycaj comes to the department from Silverthorne. He attended and graduated from Summit High School in Frisco, and has attended the University of Colorado and Colorado State University. Hrycaj is also a recent graduate of the law enforcement training academy at Red Rocks Community College and was a classmate of Keller's.
